RTL8125 2.5GbE Controller will not show up on the network tab.

What i have done so far.
lshw -C network
*-network UNCLAIMED
description: Ethernet controller
product: RTL8125 2.5GbE Controller
vendor: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd.
physical id: 0
bus info: pci@0000:04:00.0
version: 04
width: 64 bits
clock: 33MHz
capabilities: cap_list
configuration: latency=0
resources: ioport:f000(size=256) memory:fcb00000-fcb0ffff memory:fcb10000-fcb13fff
*-network
description: Ethernet interface
physical id: 2
bus info: usb@1:4

I have also uninstalled and reinstated Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS. I even went back to 18.04 still same issue. I installed windows with no issues at all so i know the network adapter is working.

I do i resolve the unclaimed network for the controller. The 2nd network is a phone hotspot using USB. My system does not have WIFI so its not other issue with WIFI realtek card.

Thank you

Please see the various answers here: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1259947/cant-get-rtl8125b-working-on-20-04

Thank you I have been able to resolve the issue. I am very new to Linux and found the drivers before on the realtec site but was not able to get it to work following the read me.

With more research was able to determine i was missing Compiler/binutils.

After install of those working like a champ.

Thank you so much for all your help
