hello gamers, im running into an issue while booting into ubuntu as im switching from manjaro kde to ubuntu.

i used rufus to make the flash drive bootable and all went well. no errors or popups during the flash nor after flashing. i plugged it into my laptop and booted right from the usb, and i chose to boot into ubuntu. about 5-10 seconds go by and im greeted with this. im fairly new to linux so i don't exactly know much about grub or the terminal but im learning

im not 100% sure what went wrong nor am i sure on how to fix it. anyone have any tips? any help would be appreciated

(so sorry for the rotated image, i tried to fix it but nothing worked)

EDIT: the flash drive im using is a 120GB drive from micro center, i also used Large fat32 as rufus set it as the default

akiino; Hello - Welcome to the forum :)

As these are ACPI errors, have you updated bios ?
In addition try:
http://iam.tj/prototype/enhancements/Windows-acpi_osi.html
to change the DSDT (Differentiated Services Description Table)

Many have reported success with TJ-'s tutorial.

hope this helps
