I just installed 20.04 using the Other option and keeping my sda1 as / and sda5 as a 70 GB partition which was my 19.10 configuration. I selected to use my previous name of sqladmin. The install first failed by turning off my Compaq 6710b laptop. I got that to work by pressing the shift key during the bios boot. OK so far. The install quit early near the end of the install and the message stated that not all files were installed but I could update them after the installation. That was good and the reboot went well. All my previous /home/sqladmin directories and files were retained. Also I mounted /dev/sda5 and all those files and directories were retained. Every thing seems to be up and running.

The packages such as postgresql, gnome-tweak-tool, and other root packages were not there so I installed them.

Which files and directories near the end of the install did not get put in place?

Thank you;
Sherman
