I am at the moment using Digital Cable but I plan to cut the cord in the near future.

For Internet I use a 4G wifi router with a sim card in it.

It allows 1.5GB of data per day which I think is too less for Amazon/Netflix.

What kind of Internet connection do you guys suggest I buy ?

So I need at least

5.0 Megabits per second - Recommended for HD quality

&

Up to 3GB per hour of video

So approx 8 X 3 =24 GB per day / 720GB per month.

I will have to search for an ISP in my locality which offers this kind of a data plan.

Thanks a lot.

Here in Tucson AZ in the states I have an 11mbit connection that is unlimited. We can run 2 Rokus and 1 netflix / prime at a time. More than enough for us here. Unfortunately where I live is kind of a dead zone. This is the only reasonable option for me out here other than satellite. And that is laughable both with caps and for gaming so it is what it is. Cable and DSL not in my area. All I got is fixed wireless or satellite for choices. This is one of the reason's I've collected and assembled my own media server and viewing setup using Kodi and LTSP around my house. My server currently has 1100 movies via dvd rips. Got a whole mess of discs in the garage.

I have fiber internet 100mbs up & down and 1 terabyte of data per month from the local phone company for $60.00 / $65.00 dollars a month depends on tax.

I ain't never had cable or got caught up in the pay TV rip off and never will.

I have a 50 ft tower in my backyard with a 48 element antenna and rotor mounted on it.
