Keyboard & Mouse not working during setup

hi,

really odd one here. During setup where I have to name the computer and choose a password, my keyboard and mouse aren't acting correctly.

E.g. I can't tab between fields, and can't left click on fields to start typing. The mouse and keyboard device is working as I've tested it on another computer as working.

If you have Nvidia graphics or a very new AMD you may need 'nomodeset'.

thanks. I was too embarrassed to reply to this because it was user error :oops: my battery was running low in my keyboard. thank you for your time in responding, it is appreciated.
