ubuntu splash screen keeps flashing no boot screen

Hello, I'm using ubuntu 18.04. when I start my computer it runs for about 45 seconds and then starts flashing the ubuntu splash screen and just keeps doing that. If I restart ubuntu a few times then it will boot.

Try ESC when it's flashing. You should see lines a messages. The last one is where it is stuck.
