Hello,

i was using Lubuntu 18.04 LTS (with LXDE) until now and had to upgrade my system. So I took Lubuntu 19.04 (with a new LXQT window manager). Ok, its new for me, but probably not so new for you.

When I saw the new Login-Manager i became speechless. Why is it so ugly?

And if you type in a wrong password a message "login failed" (in small letters) appears. It's so great. But the textfield keeps the wrong password! So I have to select all leters (or delete each letter one by one) and to type in a new password?!? Is it so difficult to remove the wrong input automatically?

19.04 is about to run out of support. I suggest a fresh install (not upgrade) of Lubuntu 19.10.

To make it beautiful, what you do is install another sddm (Lubuntu's display manager) theme.
