Will be getting a Dell Workstation (model 4800) in about a week. It has these specs, [code]4th Generation Intel® Core™i7-4X00MQ (47XX/48XX/4900XX) Quad Core Processors,16GB DDR3 RAM, upgrade to max 32GB RAM128GB SSD + 2TB HDD / Hard Disk DriveNVIDIA Quadro K2100M 2GB GraphicsWired: Integrated Intel 82579M/V 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet/[code]. I have never had nvida graphics and know sometimes people have problems. Just thought someone here would have experience with this laptop and could give some pointers or let me know of any bugs/problems I might find. I know that Dell plays nice and nvida seems to know of ubuntu, so don't expect too much difficultly. Thank you.

I have had two units both having NVIDIA Quadro (3000 & 4000) running 18.04 and both worked out of the box with generic drivers. I did upgrade to restricted drivers after, IMO Quadro is good stuff :)

Thanks, being a few years old I figured that ubuntu would have most of the drivers already, but just asking.

Just an update, everything works very well and no problems. Did have trouble installing due to bios, but a bit googllng had them fixed/adjusted.
