Hello everyone, I need some help with my installation of Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. When launching the USB, it did not open the normal window where I can choose normal/minimal installation. But I could configure keyboard, connect to internet and it made the installation.

Where it ends for me is where it says "welcome to Ubuntu 18.04" and then I am supposed to write something in the terminal, and I have no idea what to write. I would like it to launch a normal start to get to the desktop. The picture is what I see when i restart. What should I do, what is missing? Thank you so much for you help!

Hello and welcome to the forums juliagreek.

It looks as if Ubuntu Server is what is installed. What is the name of the ISO file you downloaded?
