View Full Version : [xubuntu] OEM Install: How to change Keyboard Shortcuts (or other XFCE4 Settings) globally

Hi!

My issue is with a laptop that sends XF86Display-keypress every time the laptop lid is closed or opened, which results in opening two Display settings windows - only one if the laptop is configured to go to sleep mode when the lid is closed. It's easy to fix from Keyboard shortcut settings or with Xfconfig, by deleting the shortcut for XF86Display and command xfce4-display-settings --minimal.

The big issue is that I'm doing an OEM-Install for this machine, and I would very much prefer to have the Display settings not show when opening lid, so I need to know where the global default configurations are, and how to edit them? Please - I would be very thankful.
