Hey,
Past 4 months I've been coding an Open-Source PHP Content Management System that is extremely easy to use, yet very powerful and complies with W3C standards under GPL license.
I'm very near the first public Beta and Version 1.0, but it doesn't have a name! For the moment and while I've been coding it - the name has Been 'TangoCMS' problem is that everyone uses Tango and it's a fairly common word.
Will you help me come up with a name for it?
The reason it's taken 4 months is because I'm the only one coding it and I'm only 16! :p As soon as I can get a name for it, I will buy the domain name and hosting - then I will release first Public Beta,
PS - It's best if it begings with the letter T

True TangoCMS does sounds good, but I thought a lot of people used the name 'Tango' ? If not, then I'll stick with TangoCMS!

Mmmm, there's already a well-known CMS called "Mambo". Having one called "Tango" could cause some misunderstood, and comparations. Are just too similar.
I don't know how is your cms so i don't know what name could i say ;-)

Do you have a CVS setup so we can check it out?

bluenova, nah currently I dont - I really really want to know how to set one up, because I was going to use a CVS type system to add an Update Module to my CMS so that people could easily get the latest version/bug fixes without going to the main site and downloading the files, uploading them etc. If anyone has any info on how to do this, please say!
Eversmann - yeh True, but the full name would be TangoCMS, but your right Mambo and Tango do sound similar.
I would supply a Demo account, the only problem is the way the sessions work means that, if 2 people login with the same Username, then the other person would get loged out. So if I posted the demo account details on here, it would be impossible for you to use my CMS without getting logged out at some point!
If you really want to see a demo of it, just PM me and I will setup an account for you.

Since it's open source there could be something semi-Linux-related in the name, like "Tux CMS", but not so obvious.

I can't think of much in the way of names, but once you get it up could I suggest asking for it to be added to opensourcecms.com?
I usually go there if I need a CMS, blog or similar, and they will host a demo of it, allowing people to see how it looks and stuff.
Free publicity, basically :D

just as long as the name sort of describes it's function, and doesn't use wierd combinations of lowercase and uppercase letters. (SuSE). And isn't derogatory sounding (GIMP = PIMP?).
