Wacom driver: pen and touch working out of the box, but not the keys

Hi!
I have ubuntu 18.04 and wanted to install my wacom bamboo ben & touch. I realized that by simply connecting the usb cable, the pen and touchpad work good, however I am unable to make the keys working. I especially need the key that disables the touch features (so that it recognizes only the pen).
what can I do?
