Kernel Panic at install

Trying to install Xubuntu 19.04 on an older HP workstation with BIOS. The USB boots to the install screen however once install is selected it gives a kernel panic.

I've used the same install USB on a newer HP laptop with UEFI and it installs fine, so the USB was created correctly.

Suggestions?

maybe no more supported HP hardware. Try installing something older than 19.04 to know if older kernel can be installed.

I tried 18.04 as well and get the same result.

Solved. Updated the BIOS.
