How popular are you on Facebook ?

When you post on your timeline do you get many replies ? Or just a few of them ?

I have many users in my friends list but I only have 4-5 true friends.

I don't get many replies as a consequence.

I'm not, I make an effort to not exist as far as Facebook is concerned. I'm surprised when opening web sites with noscript enabled try to run various google scripts as well as facebook. These sites have little or nothing to do with social media by my definition.

Facebook has been blocked at the network layer since about 2 weeks after they put "Like" buttons up. I'd like to sue them for tracking me without my approval all over the internet. We need to change the laws so that explicit permission for tracking is required. Basically, if you have their cookie, then you can be tracked. If you don't, then they shouldn't be allowed any access.

Same for google and every other company on the internet. Explicit permission or no tracking.

I have an account . . . that's about it, lol.

Someone made a Facebook for me a long time ago and I've barely used it since. When I do post nobody really likes, but that's ok cause I don't care enough about Facebook. I have other things that are more important to me than social media.

Not particularly popular, but it's a very convenient way for me to stay in touch with family and friends.

Between all of the social media websites, nothing is as widely used and ubiquitous as FaceBook.

i wont do, in your facebook, or other tracking places. social media is overrated, and conTROLLed.
i wouldnt mind seeing a few likes here, but not if facebook is required.

Have no account, used to have one but that was years and years ago.
When people wonder why i don't use facebook, I usually answer "I can think for myself and don't need social media to tell me what to do and think about stuff" :D

I dumped Facebook 3 years ago, over privacy issues and clumsy interface, constant interruptions of "suggested" material/people/groups/ads on the platform.

That said, all my family is on Facebook, and it's the only way they will keep in touch! No email, no phone calls, no snail mail. It's Facebook or nothing. So I'm like, "Gee, I'll miss you guys!"

I chose Diaspora (http://diasporafoundation.org/) as my "social network." You build your own, so to speak, because it won't "suggest" people you may know or stuff you might be interested in. It's a slow start, but worth the effort!

I don't try to be popular. I have it but will only add close family and friends who I actually talk to face to face. For the most part, it is the only communication I have with family.

Not popular at all, I'm almost never on it. My only interaction on there with people clicking like on some of my posts that i sporadically post once in awhile. Most of my friends on facebook are family and I'm very picky who I friend. I wanted to delete my facebook because facebook is next to useless, I did try to delete it recently but I needed it again to login into one of my accounts i foolishly used facebook to sign up for.
