Hello,
I have Ubuntu 18.04.2 on my machine with kernel version 5.0.6-050006-generic.
I make use of openafs but since upgrading my kernel to 5.0.6, it does no longer work. I saw on the openafs website, that OpenAFS 1.8.3 added support for kernels up to 5.0. As of now, my Ubuntu version only seems to support up to openafs version 1.8.0 (see here https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/bionic/+package/openafs-client).
My workaround is to boot into an earlier kernel version whenever I want to use openafs but this is obviously not great.
Is there anything I can do to maybe upgrade my openafs version manually or any way to find out whether a future upgrade of the supported version is planned?
