View Full Version : make ubuntu 18.04 look like 19.04?

hi,
is it possible to make ubuntu 18.04 look exactly the same as 19.04? shell, windows, apps, icons, everything?
just i am running 18.04 and i installed 19.04 in a vm and it looks awesome.

Look for the yaru or communitheme in the software center. I don't know if this installs the icons. All the theme and icon .debs are available from launchpad for 18.10 +.

You can also run it as a snap from the communitheme snap package.

Yeah I'm trying this now, the icons did come through.
I like it in general, they threw a lot more colours into the mix though and I don't like that. Random greens and blues that aren't balanced anywhere else. (e.g. the volume slider is now blue, the ticked boxes (like check spelling tick) are green.. why not orange, purple, and that off grey colour?)
