browsing in live session

I notice that using Ubuntu via live session SD card works well on a i7 equipped laptop but when I get online it slows down.Does this sound like what I can expect
on a live session Ubuntu 18...?

Hello,

usually browsing needs a lot of resources not only about cpu yet memory as well. Not using live session, yet system monitor can unveil more about the resources used while browsing. ps ux command will give you information also from a terminal.

Someone else using live session might shed more light.
