I did a clean install is Ubuntu 18.10 LTS have been using Ubuntu studio since it came out so I am not that familiar with the new installation.
My installation is is on a new nSATA and an new HDD for /home. I have been installing the apps I want and migrating their respective config files to /home. I have rebooted a couple dozen times and then set claws and backintime to start on boot. The next power on they started as should however the mouse buttons and other than the tab and enter keys did not work.
At login I can choose cinnamon instead of Ubuntu every thing is functional.:confused::confused:
