Problems Insatlling Teamspeak

I am newbie here . Running Ubuntu 18.04 on Thinkpad edge 15. The download of the application Teamspeak will not open after the download is successfully completed.
It say there unrecognizable characters in the download .
It seems it "MIGHT" be a character set problem? Is this possible?
Downloading the 64 bit version for linux .

Help, ideas , suggestions appreciated.

TeamSpeak is not part of the official repositories. In general, it is not recommended to add or use packages and PPAs that are not trusted.

What about something like Mumble, which is available for 18.04?
