Hi, I upgrade to 19.04 2 days aqo, and my 1st impressions were that it seemed a little sluggish compared to 18.10, contrary to the hype about better speed. But that aside I happened to notice in the system monitor that "gnome-shell" has racked up 2.2 GiB disk reads and 2.4 GiB disk writes, this after less than 5 hours of up time. A this rate I will need to replace my SSD in less than 1 year. Hopefully all this I/O is being done to the buff/cache. Could any other users running 19.04 please post your stats for for gnome-shell.
