The installation is successfull however I can't run DraftSigh in Ubuntu 14.04 x64
I have just dpkg -i the installer and can't run it.

I have tried to install 32 bits library because it seems a common issue found in Ubuntu forums.

All the information is aprecciated.

Thank you

Support for 14.04 ends any day now. Trying to solve this issue on that release is counter productive.
Since DraftSight is commercial, contacting that company for support is the best solution. BTW, a company that can't be bothered to use a real HTTPS cert is one that I would trust running any software on my system. There isn't any reason for a self-signed cert these days (free exists and works) and hasn't been for 2+ yrs. A commercial cert is only $20 and they don't have one of those?

Move to 16.04 or 18.04 and work on getting it working there or change to a different CAD package: https://itsfoss.com/cad-software-linux/

According to this: https://www.draftsight.com/media/system-requirements-draftsight-2019 , 16.04 is the only Ubuntu it is supported on.

I can confirm Draftsight runs on 16.04, I have it running on some of my systems.

I can't speak for their website but Draftsight is a product of Dassault Systèmes (https://www.3ds.com/), a subsidiary of the Dassault Group (http://www.dassault.fr/en/), which also owns Dassault Aviation (https://www.dassault-aviation.com/en/) a french aerospace company. You may have heard of them, they make the Falcon series of business jets, the Rafale Fighter and the nEUROn unmanned combat aerial vehicle among others (https://www.dassault-aviation.com/en/passion/aircraft/military-dassault-aircraft/) .

Dassault Systèmes 2017 revenue was €3,242 million. SolidWorks is a better known product by the same company.

Also as of 2019 they are discontinuing the free version of Draftsight and the previous free versions will cease to run after 12/31/2019.
