Hello all.

I have installed Ubuntu on an old thinkpad, but now when I boot up, I'm not greeted by a grub menu. Instead I see a boot menu where I can select ATA HDD or CD ROM or flash drive.
I tried to run boot repair, as well as reinstall the OS, but the issue remains.

Here's the data I got from boot-repair: http://paste.ubuntu.com/p/b8WRZ4YRp7/

I would greatly appreciate anyone would shed some light on this.

No Grub menu is the default when only one OS is installed as is your case. Hold down the left shift key on boot to see the menu. If you want it permanently shown, see post 9 at the link below which is specific to 18.04.
