Hi, my hard drive failed a few weeks ago. I try to reinstall my system but can't get the graphics driver to work(I guess).
I used to have Ubuntu 16 LTS and it was working perfectly until the drive failed.
I have an AMD Firepro W5100 card and an Acer 4K monitor.
When I try to install Ubuntu 18LTS and install amdgpu driver after reboot it goes to purple screen and nothing happens. I tried the amdgpu-pro but same happens.
When I try Ubuntu 16LTS it not recognize 4K monitor.
It could be something simple I missed but I can't get it working.
Could someone help me what to do, pls!
