I tried Ubuntu on a Macbook live USB session and it doesnt have wifi so I did the wired ethernet connection from my other laptop wifi..I changed the ipv4 setting to share and got connected
..but I cant get online..?? Google wont connect... what other settings am I missing??

I made a new wired connection this time and got it going but it still wont connect to the web.I am not going to mess with it. Can I install the BC 43 driver from the terminal?
I mean is it in the USB files somewhere? Or do I have to wait to find a wired connection??
