Hi everybody,

I have a 2012 Sony Vaio laptop with InsydeH2O BIOS, that has now Mint 18.3 installed alongside Windows 7.

When I try to boot it from Ubuntu 18.04 or 18.10 thumb-drive, I'm getting this error:

tpm tpm0: A TPM error(7) occurred attempting to read a pcr value

Well, First I see a boot menu, select "Try Ubuntu without installing", and then - the error.

Ubuntu 17.10 boots without problem, however 18.X (or Mint flavors based on Ubuntu 18.X) fails.

I checked my BIOS for TPM setting, it is disabled.

Could someone suggest, what changed between 17.10 and 18.04 to cause this kind of trouble? Or my next steps to resolve this maybe? :)
