Used the Software Updater to upgrade from 18.04 to 18.10 on my Laptop; all went well.
Used the Software Updater on my PC. Seemed to install correctly and the dual boot screen comes up. However the new upgrade (I think it is 4.18.0-45 Generic Kernel) Will not load. It brings up a Black screen with a flashing cursor in the upper left corner.
I tried booting up the old kernel 4.15.0-45 Generic with the same Black screen with a flashing cursor in the upper left corner.
What might have happened during the installation and how can I begin to resolved the issue?
