Just installed Lubuntu on this machine and am using a 24" monitor plugged into my laptop via VGA. It seems all windows maximize smaller than they should. How to fix/troubleshoot? This is for any program like Firefox or Leafpad.
Interestingly when I open the laptop display (15") and its mirrored on the monitor - it seems like the max window is to fit the max size of the laptop. But when the laptop closed, the max size of the windows still honors the laptop size. Another important point is maximized windows in the pcmanfm file manager work fine!
