Hi all and sorry I'm sure this has been asked but, I have yet to see a proper response from anyone that doesn't revert to Unity or the disabling of Wayland for this issue.
Does anyone know of a way to install Nvidia drivers to 18.10 without doing the above , and is Cononical working on a fix?
I've looked at tons of "fixes" and so far the Nvidia dev's fix seems to make the most sense - "It's not really a Wayland problem but one of GDM which is trying to be smart and fails. So many people replace it with lightdm as 100% workaround."- but has anyone seen a better fix or heard anything from Cononical? Seems odd they would let such a long standing issue go so long .
