I used the instructions on the Ubuntu website to create a bootable usb. I boot off of the usb and get to the Ubuntu menu and press install only to be given error messages same goes with just trying Ubuntu. I tried the process on the usb again to make sure I didn't accidentally create a bad usb but it didn't work. I get a long list of messages that say" APCI Exception: Could not find/resolve named package element:LNK (some number)/dspckginit-381 ". I apologize because I am new to this but I have no clue what is wrong and any help is appreciated.

jesserightclick; Hello - Welcome to the forum.

Regret a delay in responding.

What is the hardware .. and is this a legacy or EFI system ?
What mode are you booting the installer ?

Did you verify the downloaded .iso ?
