Apologies in advance if this is not the most appropriate place to post this - my problem seems to span a number of forums so please feel free to move if necessary.

Ultimately, I have a large number of .ts files (i.e. recordings made with TVHeadend) that are in the format "Series/Series-SXEX-Episode".

The data for the episode is pretty good but for a number of reasons, TVDB has real problems picking lots of them up - they are either not picked up at all or scraped as the incorrect show.

I really want to avoid scraping and just have the recordings show up with the name that they currently have - I don't need all the artwork or descriptions.

To do this, KODI needs the files to be accompanied by an NFO file to allow it to be added to the library.

This site - https://nfo-maker.com/ allows you to do this on an individual basis, but I was wondering if there were a way to run a script that automatically created an NFO file for each recording.

Any pointers would be much appreciated.
