So, i just installed Linux Ubuntu 18 and I would love to install s older theme but i have no idea how!
Now spend my time researching and I also remember from whem I was installing this theme on my Ubuntu 8 or 9 but I think I need to have Emerald.
No matter how I search the net or try I just cant find Emerald or I just cant install it.

Here is the theme am looking to install:
a) https://www.gnome-look.org/p/1004775/
b) https://practicallyprashanth.wordpress.com/2009/12/26/applying-die-hard-4-0-theme-to-ubuntu/

If anyone could help me, that would be seriously much appreciated !

Have a nice day!

Emerald doesn't exist any more.

Compiz forked into compiz and beryl. Emerald was the window decorator for beryl. Then compiz and beryl settled their differences and remerged as compiz fusion, and then simply compiz. Compiz was only maintained because Canonical needed it for Unity, so they paid the developers. Unity has now been discontinued.

Your second link has a GTK2 theme. That would be your most promising approach. Gnome has moved to GTK3, so some bits probably won't work out of the box. You're likely to have to do some fiddling.
