Should I enable 3rd party software in Ubuntu's installation process ?

What does enabling 3rd party software do ?

3rd party software means closed source driver support and various media codecs, in general.
(media codecs include flash among others)

Should i enable them for better hardware driver support ? or do the opensource drivers work better ? I have Intel iGPU, Intel Wireless card, Lenovo track-pad...wacom digitizer screen and etc

Ubuntu provides both intel and wacom open source drivers out of the box.
Not sure if wacom has any closed source drivers, but
I am sure intel is open source only.

I have never installed those third party packages during the OS installation; like you I have an all Intel system and see no need for those drivers, nor these days for flash as almost everything now uses html5, and if a site demands flash, I either choose to go elsewhere, or if really necessary install flash manually afterwards.

It is quicker to install the OS without those extra packages, how much quicker I can't say, never having installed with them, but never having had a graphic card that needed drivers from either nvidias or AMD, I have very limited experience of potential problems.
