I upgraded to Cosmic, and now Gnucash freezes up and crashes. Gnucash is my single most important application. I did a fresh installation on another partition, and the behaviour is identical. I am managing to get work done by running 16.04 in virtualbox, which is a bit awkward. Removing and re-installing Gnucash and Gnucash-common does not help. Any tips appreciated.
