startup disk creator non persistent live usb

Hello,
i have a question, when creating live usb using startup disk creator, does it create non persistent usb, or persistent and if it creates persistent, how can i create non persistent usb ?
I wasn't able to google it.

startup disk creator no longer creates a persistent install media. If you want a persistent install media, use mkusb.

Mkusb +1, It can make either Live or Persistent installs.

Or if you are on Windows, UNetbootin or Universal should work for a Live or Persistent install.

If you use SDC for a Live, (non-persistent), install note that any extra space on the flash drive will be unusable.
