strange text in chrome

After upgrade to 18.10 the text in chrome has become blurry and strange. Don't know how to describe it in a good way but mayby the screenshot speaks for it self.
I had the same problem after an upgrade some time ago but found a remedy to it, but don't remember what I did.
Now I got it again but don't know howto solve it. I have tried to disable hardware acceleration but it did not help.
The text in firefox is normal

Seems like the screeshot does not show the problem so well. It is much worse as I see it. Attach pictures from my camera too.
Some characters get red vertical lines after them

I have disabled hardware acceleration but it did not work.
