Single click in 18.10

Hi, I just did a fresh install of Ubuntu 18.10.
I cannot find a way to make the left mouse button behave as a double click to open files and such. I have to always double click to open.
There is also no way to change this in the file menu window as before.
I have done a google search to no avail and am wondering if this is a feature that was removed in 18.10.
I can't find a way in either the settings or the tweak tool.

Hi, Go to the Nautilus file Manager next to Activities and enter the drop-down menu then preferences after that go to Behaviour and under "Open Action" change it from double-click to single-click and that should be now your preferred default action.

Does yours not have single click working in Files > Preferences >Behavior > Open Action?

Click on the Files title in the top panel for the dropdown that includes the preferences setting.

Remember the tools to change settings: System Settings (top right cog icon) , Tweak Tool, and dconf-editor.

Te default file manager in 18.10 does not have a preferences.
Here is a screen shot.
Any ideas?

Click on Files in the desktop panel.

Really crazy in Nautilus for Gnome 3 a bit of menu is on the files window top panel (right) and another bit is on the top panel of the screen (left)... Is there any hidden logic in it???
