i need to figure out how to make a startup script that will:

change my primary display
change it back to the original

the issue arises out of using four monitors with one above the other three. the lower right display is my primary. problem is that, when i boot into the system, any taskbar info like menus and notifications do not pop up directly above the taskbar. they pop up on the above display as if the taskbar was on that display. if i open the kde settings app and change the primary display from the lower right display to the top display, then change it back to the lower right display, the menus and notifications relocate to their correct positions. it seemed like i should be able to have a small script that would do this on login. but how?

thanks,
