I have an HP 6560b laptop with 2 HD, one has Ubuntu the other W10. I generally use Ubuntu, mostly because it is much faster in everything I do but I will use W10 as well. During an Ubuntu update a few months ago it installed a boot option and ever since that day W10 has given me trouble. When I try to shut down after booting into W10 it will hang after turning off the wireless adapter, not always but most of the time and I have to finish powering off using the power button. This is a bit annoying. Also when I boot back up into W10 I almost always have to adjust the time since it doesn't seem to maintain it, also a bit annoying. Does anyone know of a fix to this?

If you need to adjust time, then think about the mobo battery (maybe too old).
The other problem seems relative to some old settings left behind; so think to clean the system:
windows: use ccleaner for example
ubuntu: use gtkorphan & bleachbit (as root, carefuly select features)

May be time settings in Windows or Ubuntu.
Time issues fix changed:

My Windows 10 was off by UTC difference but after a couple of reboots corrected itself.
