I had lubuntu 18.04 i386 working. I thought that I wanted kubuntu 18.04 amd64. Using a live USB I did an install on top of lubuntu. At 89%, the installation stopped, with a message that I might have to install some packages after the install process. I clicked OK, and then It said that the installer had an unrecoverable error. It put me out to the live try before you install. I then tried to boot from the hard drive nothing but a black screen, ctl alt del, did nothing. I tried the install again with the same errors. I am now at the desktop of the live USB. Where do I go from here?
