LXDE Forum Registration

I am running Lubuntu with LXDE and I would like to register on the LXDE Forum, but to no avail.
Tried several times.

I enter "Forgot Password", the forum answers that "Account Not Activated".

I request the activation email, but it never arrives.

When I try to register with a different account name, the response is "Email already in use".

Thunderbird and my ISP do not have the email in the SPAM folder.

Locked in the 'Twilight Zone'.
Any suggestions ?

Have you had a look or tried https://forum.lxde.org/memberlist.php?mode=contactadmin ??? Some email domains have trouble receiving emails from certain boards if you raise the issue with them it may make them investigate the problem itself.

Have you contacted a forum administrator? centralpython has given you the link. They will do their best to solve your problem.

I contacted the Forum with an email 9 months ago and got no reply.
No reply yet from 2 days ago.

In a couple of days time I will use my wife's Windows 10 machine and email address to attempt to register a different account.

Who did you address the email to? I am one of the administrators of the LXDE forums and received no email. Are you using the same user name?

I used the contact box in the forum.
The name entered was 'electrosteam' as is used here.
Every time an email address was entered I used my standard address.
When I tried to register in another name I got something like "address already in use".

It appears the LXDE Forum has got my name/email correct, the problem is failure to receive the activation email.
I have joined several forums with activation emails without any problems.
Note that I tried several months ago to contact the administrator, without success.

Would it help if I PM you with my email address ?

Rex,
Got notification of the PM in my regular Thunderbird email account.
Entered name/password in the forum login boxes, got 'incorrect password'.
Selected 'forgot password', notified that email had been sent.

One hour later, activation email not received.

I will be away from my machine for 18 hrs, then I will check for the email again.

Sincere thanks for making the effort, it is appreciated.
And apologies in advance if we eventually discover some stupid action by me.

Not sure what the spam settings are at my ISP, but it does have a Spam Folder, and it is empty.

Rex, got the email, logged on to the LXDE Forum, posted a short thread, added some profile details, and changed the password.
