G'day, I
I've been given an Android 4.4 phone and wish to install apps etc on an sd card, I understand it will require rooting, I was hoping to find a Ubuntu Tutorial, I've looked but apparently not well enough.
Can anyone please point me in the right direction, I have adb installed

I've only rooted one cell phone and I found all the information I needed on the cell phone manufactures website and forum.

G'day, thanks mate but mine is a Chinese VK700 I doubt there will be good information, I thought and was hoping there would be a Ubuntu Tutorial but apparantly not, I've tried youtube but nah, Joe.

I may have been wrong as it appears "One Click Root" is mentioned many times for rooting VK700, later today will prove it, Joe.
