There seem to be similar threads, but none solves my problem. I must reboot after suspend to get sound through my headphone jack. Sound works with the built in speakers after suspend, just not headphone jack.
This started immediately after upgrade to 18.04 from 16.04.
If you want more information about my laptop, please remind me of the commands that provide it.
