In Xubuntu 18.4 i set to switch off the screen when the lid of the laptop is closed but when it is reopened some windows disappear. This happens with specific applications as FoxitReader and Simulink (but not the main window of matlab), while others application as file manager or browsers are not affected. This does not happen if i manually switch off screen from keyboard.
