I was setting up Ubuntu 16.04.4 server with a Asus x99-e ws usb motherboard without grafic onboard I like to connect a USB to HDMI adapter.
I checked different USB ports and the result were only error messages, no display:
device descriptor read/64, error -32
and
device descriptor read/64, error -110
and
EDID block is all zeroes.
What "drivers" do I need here? or
How can I fix that?
