Hi all, I have a MSI Laptop and it tends to get a bit hot while doing intensive things. On windows there are various tools available to help undervolt both the CPU and GPU. For the CPU I've seen some commandline tools and that would work too but what options are there for the GPU (which is an nVidia btw)? Any tips and recommendations are welcome.

BTW, it is not really the heat itself that is a problem as it stays within reasonable values. However to stay within those values the fans have to work really hard and that's very noisy. As I do in game video recording the noise is rather annoying as it is very noticable in the recording. So any other solutions to help reduce the fan sound (both hardware or software) are fine. The laptop is a MSI Gaming laptop model GV72 8RE. It has a nVidia GTX 1060 and an I7 intel processor. It is brand new (five days old).

Thanks in advance,
