I used this guide, https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ManualFullSystemEncryption, to install/encrypt my system. What is the purpose of a separate data partition password, that does not have to be used on an everyday basis? Is this password known by the system (or able to be decrypted), and used behind the scenes to decrypt the data every day?Since the page is a Wiki, and the install file is linked from a dropbox account, why couldn't anyone change the link to malicious code? Would it just be noticed too quickly?
