The default file manager displays icons of jpg files with the file names. Is there a dual pane file manager that does the same. I tried Krusader but it just displays the default jpg icon
Thanks
Frank

You could try pcmanfm the default file manager of Lubuntu; it starts in single pane view but F3 toggles it to two pane view.

There are other FMs that are dual pane by default such as mc (midnight-commander) but I don't think that will show previews.

I like and use mc but it doesn't show previews. I'll take a look at pcmanfm
Thanks

Try Nemo file manager. Press F3 to open the second panel.

Problem solved. The default file manager that comes with Ubuntu 16.04LTS desktop - "FILES" automatically displays thumbnails of jpg files. It only seems to have a single pane but it can open 2 copies so I can drag and drop between then
Thanks
