I'm trying to update a test 16.04 VM, but it hangs when trying to configure apt 1.2.27
I'm trying it from recovery mode, since it does not boot into a GDM ATM.

After a little investigation, I've managed to get past the hang by killing the perl script trying to invoke apt-daily-upgrade.timer
Wonder what package that **** comes from.
