I have a new Acer Aspire 7 (A715-71G-70P3) with windows 10 and when I try to install Ubuntu 18.04 on the USB ports at the right side of the laptop installation just freezes after a set time because it stops accessing the USB drive (I know this because the light the drive has just turns off). This freeze after a set time happens even when I'm just trying out Ubuntu without installing. These ports are USB 2.0.
When I try to do it with the port on the left side (USB 3.0) it jumps to Windows 10 even immediately after changing the boot order in the BIOS.
I already tried different USB drives and downloading the iso image again. I also have secureboot disabled.
What can I do in this case?
