kubuntu 18.04 - no sound starting session

In the system setting - Notification I set a sound at login (A new session is starting) but, when I start KDE Plasma, it does not work.
System sounds work.

Any ideas? Thanks

I guess it is muted.

Open the system settings for audio from the panel applet with a right click. First open the volume settings then go to the tab 'Applications' and unmute notification sound. If not muted you will see it is on zero, move the slider.

I just discovered the other day that notification sounds on my Kubuntu 18.04 installation had 0% volume. Perhaps you have the same problem?

The notification volume was 100% and I set it to 120% and after reboot to 92%. I still do not hear the sound.
